Winchuck Community Website

Welcome to Winchuck.org, the home of the following community organizations…

  • Winchuck Volunteers - A community based organization that all residents of the valley belong to. Their primary mission is to promote emergency preparedness and response, but they also serve the broader interests of the entire community.
  • Winchuck Raiders - This is the local Adopt-A-Highway group that conducts periodic cleanups of the first six miles of the Winchuck River Road.
  • Winchuck Watershed Council - This group’s mission is to protect the Winchuck watershed; to enhance native fish populations; and to provide for enjoyment, education and recreation on river.

For the latest information about all of these organizations, checkout the Winchuck News page.

Perry and Lucille Devine have donated the domain name registration fees for this site to the community and Perry and Bill Andrews have volunteered to create the initial site and serve as its webmasters.

Some areas of the site are still under construction. Please check it out on a regular basis to keep up with all of the issues and activities that affect the Winchuck valley. This site belongs to the whole community and it should be a community effort. Technical help, feedback and content submissions are welcomed and desired. Send comments, suggestions and submissions to webmaster@winchuck.org.
